“ 5 Stars Absolutely fantastic fish and chips! The batter was perfectly crispy, and the fish was fresh and flaky. The chips were golden and delicious — just the right amount of crunch. The service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. Easily one of the best traditional fish and chips experiences I’ve had in London. Highly recommended! ”
“ This is the best chippy I had in London. The serving is big firstly. I ordered Cod and sweet potato fries and mushy peas. The crispiest sweet potato fries. The cod is cooked to perfection. No greasy aftertaste. Overall great place. Will definitely be back. Nice and cozy ambience despite it being small. ”
“ Lovely restaurant!! Probably the best fish and chips I've ever tasted! Delicious food, meticulous in detail, perfectly cooked! The service was impeccable, the staff was very polite and willing to serve, the portions of the food were almost double those of other shops that offer fish and chips Definitely a restaurant that makes you want to visit it again and again! ”
“ I paid a visit here on the 29th of April 2025. Reason I came here it was reviewed by a well-known YouTube food critic in 2024 as the best chippy in London. I had the haddock and chips with a soft drink, about 20 on the day. This is the first fish and chip shop I have visited in London so I can't compare it with any others in London, but having gone to Southwold many many times as well as Aldeburgh, these two Suffolk coast towns i consider to have the best fish and chips in this part of the country, these fish and chips are comparable which I think is a pretty good comparison. Price I thought was a little expensive compared with other parts of the country but then this is London, at the time they do a lunchtime meal deal which is pretty good value for money. When I paid a visit the restaurant was a little quiet late afternoon, they do have a thriving takeaway business which considering the competition they have in London I think speaks volumes. To sum up it was worth the trip. ”
“ Fish & chip place that offers various sides AND sauces! Service was good, enough seats but a bit lacking in space. But still a good dining experience. We ordered the traditional cod and sweet potato chips and traditional haddock and chips. ”
“ Large portions of delicious food for a great price! They have a great selection to choose from. The area is convenient for takeout but it’s also nice to eat in as the interior is well decorated and cozy. The staff were also extremely kind and helpful! The female at the front and the male cook took good care of us and chatted to us for a bit! Also saw they had a great lunch deal available. ”
“ Easily in my top three fish and chips meal. The batter was also so tasty, I finished up even the crumbs. The tartar sauce was evidently homemade and was the best I've ever had. Worth going out of your way for. ”
“ Came all the way from Atlanta, Georgia, USA to enjoy traditional fish and chips. This is a must try where all the locals come to enjoy delicious fried fish. Generous portions! Phenomenal customer service and adorable ambience. ”
